Which match type should a negative keyword use?

• Broad negative (jobs): blocks any search containing the word in any order. Best for single, clearly wrong words.
• Phrase negative ("how to"): blocks searches containing the words in that order. Best for two-word patterns.
• Exact negative ([website builder free]): blocks only that exact search. Use sparingly.

Negative keywords don't match close variants: add plurals and common misspellings yourself (course, courses, cource), or use a tool that builds the variant pack for you. Microsoft Ads has no broad negatives, so broad ones are added there as phrase.

Find the words this list misses
