Website audit for Google Ads landing pages
Updated 28 October 2026
Negative keywords stop bad clicks. A weak landing page wastes the good ones. Before you run ads, check the website the way Google's Quality Score and a real visitor do.
What the audit checks
- Broken pages (404, 5xx), with the page that links to each one
- Redirect chains and internal links that redirect
- Titles and meta descriptions: missing, duplicate, too long or too short
- H1 headings, thin pages under 250 words, noindex and canonical problems
- Mobile: pages without a viewport tag, which show zoomed out on phones
- Speed: slow server responses and very heavy pages
- HTTPS, XML sitemap, robots.txt and structured data
- Lead paths: a clickable phone number, WhatsApp link and enquiry form on every page you advertise
- Pages whose content only appears with JavaScript
Every issue comes with why it matters and how to fix it, a score out of 100, and a CSV of every affected page.
Why it matters for Google Ads
Landing-page experience is part of Quality Score: a slow or confusing page pays more per click and converts less. A page without a phone number, form or WhatsApp link loses the visitors who were ready to buy.
